The course structure is as follows:
Week One
Monday: 6.30-8.30pm : Course Introduction
Thursday: 6.30-10.00pm : Open Water Theory/Pool Session
Friday: 6.30-10.00pm : Open Water Theory/Pool Session
Week Two
Thursday: 6.30-10.00pm : Open Water Theory/Pool Session
Friday : 6.30-10.00pm : Open Water Theory/Pool Session
Saturday : Open Water Sea Dives : 1 snorkel, 2 scuba
Sunday : Open Water Sea Dives : 2 scuba
Please note that we also require a dive medical signed off by a NZ doctor prior to your sea dives.
Advanced Open Water Diver Course
This takes you the open water diver to a new level of experience. By completing our specialty’s courses below you not only gain valuable skills and knowledge, but also become a more confident, competent and safe diver.
- Boat diving

- Deep diving

Course includes all training materials, classroom sessions, and sea dives to complete the course.
OPEN WATER DIVER + BOAT SPECIALTY COURSE
Thinking about scuba diving off a charter boat overseas and haven’t completed your open water course yet? Then this could be for you. Become a competent open water diver that has experience with boat procedures such as water entries/exits, boat types, dive gear preparation etc.
Includes:
Training materials, classroom/pool sessions, snorkelling/scuba Rental Gear For The duration of the course, 3x open water sea dives from shore, 2x open water dives from a boat, certification in both Open Water diving and Boat Diving
